Achieving intelligence depends on the ability to query, interpret, and generally "make sense" of growing amounts of information and data stored in repositories. BI technologies and strategies are being deployed to face new challenges and to leverage the intelligence that lies dormant in data stores; however, large and complex projects can become risky: BI can easily become unmanageable, fail to meet its objectives, and may not remain sustainable in the long term.
