Advanced Search
Enter a word or a "phrase in quotes" to return results that contain your word or exact phrase.
Search Tips
For brute-force matching, use the splat * wildcard, as in: plan*.
Exact phrase - Type in the exact phrase you're looking for enclosed in double quotes. You will return articles with the exact phrase. Example: "Enterprise architecture"
Boolean Operators
Boolean operators allow terms to be combined through logic operators. Lucene supports AND, "+", OR, NOT and "-" as Boolean operators (Note: Boolean operators must be ALL CAPS).
- Automatic OR - If you enter two words or more, articles will be returned that include either one of the words. To restrict a search further, include more terms or join the words together using AND. Example: Enterprise OR architecture
- Searching with AND - You can force the search engine to search for all of your search terms by using the term AND. Example: Enterprise AND architecture
- Searching with NOT - You can exclude terms from your search results using the word NOT. Example: Enterprise NOT architecture
