Gil Broza Senior Consultant

Gil Broza is a Senior Consultant with Cutter's Agile Product & Project Management practice. He helps organizations, teams, and individuals implement high-performance agile principles and practices. Mr. Broza's coaching and training clients, including more than 1,000 professionals in 20 companies, have delighted customers, shipped working software on time, boosted productivity, and decimated software defects. Beyond teaching, he helps people overcome limiting habits, fears of change, blind spots, and outdated beliefs, as well as reach higher levels of performance, confidence, and accomplishment.

In the last eight years, Mr. Broza has worked with organizations of every size and industry, including software/hardware, embedded, financials, enterprise applications, and education. He has conducted readiness assessments, skills trainings, project kickoffs, large-scale transitions, ongoing process coaching, retrospectives, and process fix-ups and tune-ups. Prior to becoming a consultant, Mr. Broza was an R&D manager, team leader, and developer for 12 years, successfully applying agile methods since 2001. He remains actively proficient in Java, .NET, and C++.

Mr. Broza has a bachelor of science in computer science and mathematics and a master of science in computational linguistics from Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel). He is a certified NLP Master Practitioner and has studied organizational behavior and development extensively. Mr. Broza has written several practical papers for conferences and trade magazines - winning the "Best Practical Paper" award at XP/Agile Universe 2004 - and is co-producer of the Coaching Stage for Agile2009.
