Leonard Rubin Summit Speaker

Len Rubin is Vice President Human Resources/Corporate Services Business Technology at Pfizer Worldwide Technology. For the past twelve years, Len has held a number of different IT positions across Pfizer. He is currently responsible for the business technology support for Global Human Resources, the Legal Division, Worldwide Policy and Planning, Global Operations and the Executive Leadership Team. Previously, he was responsible for managing all the global Human Resources Information System activity for the Pfizer Pharmaceutical Group (PGP) and for organizational development within the PGP Global Business Technology group. For five years, he was responsible for overseeing business technology activity for Japan, Asia, Africa, and Latin America (JAALA) region.

His first position at Pfizer was as the IT Director for the Pfizer Legal Division. He assumed this position after holding a number of lead IT positions in different legal environments which included Proskauer Rose, a large NY law firm, and the New York County District Attorney's office.

Before working in the legal sector, he worked as an IT manager for American Express in their direct marketing and new card acquisition units. Prior to working as an IT professional, he was employed as a research associate of the National Academy of Sciences and as a Sociology Professor at Montclair State University. Len received his BS from Cornell University and a PhD in Sociology for SUNY at Stony Brook.
