Daniel Spica Consultant

Daniel Spica is a Consultant for Cutter Consortium. He is a Senior Consultant and Manager at Infovide-Matrix S.A., where he is responsible for management consulting and training services. Infovide, which is the exclusive representative of Cutter Consortium in Poland, is ranked among the top CSI (Consulting & Solution Implementation) organizations in that marketplace. His areas of interest include quality and reliability issues, psychological aspects of management, and strategic business management.

Mr. Spica likes to share experiences with others by providing trainings, lectures, and writing articles. During his professional career, he has worked as a consultant for such companies as Borland and Oracle, where he has helped customers with issues regarding quality, architecture, and technological problems. Mr. Spica feels comfortable working on the edge between IT and business in different fields, including heavy industry and telecom. He is also a fan of agile, which he finds opposite to the approaches in which people are viewed solely as human resources. Mr. Spica enjoys finding common areas among different management schools and combining these in usable methods, which help people manage projects successfully. In his free time, he is a PhD student at the Polish Academy of Sciences, where he is working on his thesis on the reliability aspects of IT systems. He can be reached at consulting@cutter.com.
